Our mission
Ending child sexual abuse in Nigeria
SOAR Initiative is a registered non-profit organisation in Nigeria (RC: CAC/IT/NO 28927) committed to the prevention of child sexual abuse and the protection of children and teenagers. Founded in 2011, we raise awareness, educate communities, advocate for stronger child-protection systems, and provide direct support to survivors through our Support Center.
We believe every child deserves to grow up safe, informed, and supported — free from the threat of sexual abuse. Our work spans Abuja's Federal Capital Territory and beyond, reaching schools, communities, and families with prevention education and survivor-centred services.
We are a member of the Network of Civil Society Organizations in FCT and collaborate with government agencies, international partners, and community leaders to strengthen child protection systems across Nigeria.
